Pretty and feminine describes this sweet Red Spinel and Diamond Halo ring. The ring is made of 18k White Gold and features a natural .38ct Oval Red Spinel. The Red Spinel is beautifully framed in a Diamond Halo containing .09cttw of Round Brilliant cuts. The Clarity Grade is VS-2 to SI-1 and a Color Grade of G-H using GIA Grading standards. Spinel actually forms in a variety of colors but the reds are becoming more and more popular and more expensive as demand increases. Commonly mined in Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Myanmar, Pakistan, and Vietnam, this gemstone is becoming more popular after being named the newest birthstone to August. These are usually found in veins where miners are mining for sapphires. They look very similar but have a different chemical composition from sapphire (corundum). The halo measures 7.7mm at the widest point and the rings shanks measures 1.5mm thick. Finger Size 6.5 and weighs 2.56 grams of 18k white gold. The ring comes in a graphite grey and champagne satin bespoke ring box.
