Description:

This clean, modern necklace features an exquisite abstract oval Lapis Lazuli gemstone that is bezel set to slide on its chain.  The Lapis is a vibrant specimen and the artisan only had to set it in a simple bezel because it is so exquisite.

Features:

Startling shades of blue, along with white and flashes of metallic gold are exhibited in the Lapis.

The necklace has a very solid and substantial bezel frame so the lapis is the star of this necklace.

There are two round openings on the side towards the top of the frame in which a chain slides thru offering a clean uncluttered assembly.

Finishing off this striking piece is a 18" sterling chain.

This piece was handmade in Taxco, Mexico by Guille Arregui, who is know for his clean lines and innovative designs.

About the artist: Guille Arregui:

He was born in Jaen, Spain and as a young man spent many years traveling the world. In 1985 he arrived in Taxco.

He found Taxco beautiful and soon encountered a local silversmith who opened his studio to him and taught him everything he knew about his craft.

Guille loves natural stones and cuts them himself to make his unusual and artistic pieces, in fact, he knows all aspects of his production from start to finish. His inspirations are his travels and the natural world, things that are bottomless sources of inspiration.
