About the artisan:
Antonio Escorcia: From the small village of Hueymatla near Taxco, Antonio has become one of the area's most talented silversmiths. His family was also responsible for teaching him the techniques of working silver when Tono was just a young man. He has spent his life creating jewelry and studied briefly at an independent school of silversmithing in Taxco, where he began to experiment with complex, Baroque-inspired designs. His pieces are truly one-of-a-kind, beautifully imagined, and technically flawless heirloom pieces.
