Handmade by an artisan in Taxco, Mexico this 14k yellow gold three-stone Andalusite Pendant is neutral in tone yet powerful in presence.
Although Andalusite as a mineral is not uncommon, the transparent variety used as a gem is very rare. The largest Andalusite-producing countries include South Africa and France and other notable locations for mining Andalusite can be found in Andalusia, Spain, and some water-worn pebbles come from the state of Minas Gerais in Brazil. Often the andalusite is formed within the veins and cavities within igneous rocks.
In ancient times, andalusite was thought to be one of the most powerful healing stones.
The pendant's design features three Round Brilliant bezel set Andalusites which are nicely matched for their color, hue, and saturation. The design is unisex in style.
