Description:
Discover the enchanting beauty of our artisan cabochon opal ring, meticulously crafted by renowned designer Antonio Escorcia from the historic silver town of Taxco. This original and one-of-a-kind ring features a stunning opal cabochon, known for its mesmerizing play of colors, set in a sleek and elegant sterling silver mounting.
This is the first ring of this style that Antonio has made. He is a master in silversmithing and works with fundamental jewelry tools. He was encouraged by our silver curator to try designing different designs from what she has had him make in the past. We are thrilled to see where he takes his designs in the future.
The Ring Features:
The ring is set with a natural oval cabochon Opal which measures 10 x 12mm.
The Opal is also set in a sterling silver bezel and backed with sterling silver.
The sterling silver outer frame of the ring top is a dot-on-dot hand-crafted oval finishing frame which makes the colors in the Opal pop.
The ring's shank is a sturdy half-round style finished with a bright polish.
The ring is sizable.
The ring is a finger size 8.
About the Artisan Antonio Escorcia:
From the small village of Hueymatla near Taxco, Antonio has become one of the area's most talented silversmiths. His family was also responsible for teaching him the techniques of working silver when Tono was just a young man. He has spent his life creating jewelry and studied briefly at an independent school of silversmithing in Taxco where he began to experiment with complex, Baroque-inspired designs. His pieces are truly one-of-a-kind, beautifully imagined, and technically flawless heirloom pieces.
This exquisite ladies' jewelry collection blends traditional craftsmanship with modern elegance, making it a perfect addition to any jewelry collection. Whether you want to elevate your everyday style or seek a unique statement piece, our Antonio Escorcia collection promises timeless sophistication and unmatched quality.
