The artisan who made these beautiful and feminine pearl earrings only makes a limited amount of finished pieces because he is also a farmer. The artisan is Toño Escorcia of Taxco, Mexico. The natural large round pearl is the star here and the dangle earrings are finished with Antonio's signature silver raised wire work.
Features:
The artisan, Toño, is a master at the applied raised wire designs that make up the top of the dangle earring. Each piece he has made for us features a completely different shape in the silver which reveals his genius in wire work.
His inventive designs remind us of baroque artistry in its intricacy.
The earring measures a near 1.5 inches long and the silver top is about 13mm wide.
The matched pair of natural white pearls measures about 13mm.
The earrings are handmade in fine sterling silver and they are stamped "925".
The earring comes in our bespoke earring box.
About Antonio Escorcia:
From the small village of Hueymalta near Taxco, Antonio has become one of the area's most talented silversmiths. His family is also responsible for teaching him the techniques of working silver when Toño was a young man. He has spent his life creating jewelry and studied briefly at an independent school of silversmithing in Taxco where he began to experiment with complex designs. His pieces are truly one-of-a-kind, beautifully imagined, and technically flawless heirloom pieces.

Please call or email within 3-5 business days for a return authorization number. Include a copy of your receipt and any jewelry boxes, pouches or certifications with your return. The return authorization number must be on the outside returned box or IT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
