Description:

This artisan Sterling Silver double row dot pattern ring is made in the traditional way of the Taxco silversmith. It has a raised dot pattern on the top and bottom of the ring which encircles the entire band.

Features:

The black oxidation background gives the ring a rich color and makes the raised dots stand out.

Made in the artistic Mecca of silversmithing, Taxco jewelry designers produce fashionable and wearable jewelry.

The band measures 12mm in width.

The ring is a finger size 6.5 and cannot be sized up or down because of the pattern encircling the band.

About Taxco:

Taxco was a lovely silver mining town located south west from Mexico City and the center of a hand-wrought silver industry in the 1930's.

Taxco silver jewelry production boomed during World War II because Europe was unavailable as a source of luxury goods during this time so many high end retailers in the United States and Canada turned south of the border to meet customer demand for exceptional silver art and jewelry.

Taxco presently has over 300 silver workshops that produce hand-made silver jewelry that is now one the most recognized Mexican art forms.

Taxco is primarily known for its fine silver handwork and other crafts, being recognized as the outstanding centre for silver work in the Western Hemisphere.
