An artisan in Taxco hand smithed the sterling silver bezel that frames the Amethyst druzy which is a near oval shape.

 Druzy quartz is a unique gemstone beloved for its natural, glittering collection of tiny crystals and a variety of colors.  

Druzy is a compact layer of tiny crystals that form inside or on the surface of a larger rock or crystal. 

The stud earrings measure approximately 16 x 12mm and are finished with a post and clutch.
