About Taxco: Taxco was a lovely silver mining town located southwest of Mexico City and the center of a hand-wrought silver industry in the 1930's. Taxco silver jewelry production boomed during World War II because Europe was unavailable as a source of luxury goods, so many high-end retailers in the United States and Canada turned south of the border to meet customer demand for exceptional silver art and jewelry. Taxco presently has over 300 silver workshops that produce hand-made silver jewelry which is now one of the most recognized Mexican art forms. Please call or email within 3-5 business days for a return authorization number. Include a copy of your receipt and any jewelry boxes, pouches or certifications with your return. The return authorization number must be on the outside returned box or IT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
